Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using our services or placing an order.
1. Terms & Conditions (Wholesale & Customization)
This is the primary legal contract for business clients.
A. Ordering and Quotations
- All quotes are valid for 30 days.
- Orders are only confirmed once Eco Tote provides a written order acknowledgement and the deposit (if applicable) is paid.
- Industry Tolerance: As is standard in bag manufacturing, we reserve a +/- 10% margin on quantity, thickness, and dimensions. You will be invoiced for the exact quantity delivered.
B. Artwork and Proofing
- Approval: We will provide a digital proof for all customized orders. Eco Tote accepts no responsibility for errors (including spelling, color, or placement) once the proof has been signed off by the buyer.
- Color Matching: We strive to match Pantone colors as closely as possible; however, an exact match cannot be guaranteed due to the natural texture of cotton fibers.
C. Payment Terms
- Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required in full before dispatch for new clients.
- Established wholesale accounts may be granted "Net 30" terms at our discretion. We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act.
D. Shipping and Force Majeure
- Delivery dates are estimates. Eco Tote is not liable for delays caused by raw material shortages, shipping strikes, or "Acts of God" (Force Majeure).
2. Custom Designs & Intellectual Property
For customized bag requests, any brand assets (logos/designs) provided to Eco Tote will be used solely for the fulfillment of your project. We will not use your specific custom designs for other clients without your express permission.
3. Returns & Cancellation Policy
- Plain Wholesale Bags: You may return unprinted stock bags within 14 days of receipt. Goods must be in original, re-salable condition. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the buyer.
- Custom/Bespoke Bags: We cannot accept returns or cancellations for customized bags once production has started, as these are made to your specific requirements.
- Defects: Any claims for damage or short-delivery must be made in writing within 2 working days of delivery. Our liability is limited to the replacement of the defective goods.
4. Ethical & Sustainability Policy
- Sourcing: Eco Tote is committed to sourcing cotton from ethically audited factories (e.g., SEDEX or GOTS certified).
- Materials: We prioritize natural, biodegradable, and sustainable fibers to minimize environmental impact.
- Marketing Ethics: Our marketing services for other companies are conducted with transparency, ensuring all claims of "eco-friendliness" are backed by factual material data.
